Homemade Snow Globes
Updated: Apr 19, 2022

Yesterday my eldest daughter and I spent an hour with modelling wax whilst the little one explored it too. The little one helped us soften the wax and together we made two snow globes from old jars in the kitchen
We made a snowy scene which is part of our Snow and Ice exploration this month using the Waldorf Magic Pack and my daughter decided to make a Chinese Dragon, for our Chinese New Year celebrations in February.
Our snowy scene we made using a river stone and then we superglued the beeswax to the stone. Beeswax is great for making your own little worlds as when you submerge it in the cold water it hardens and lasts well!
A simple but magical little craft which the little one has been fascinated by she also enjoyed seeing it ‘snow’ around the snowman whom she helped bring into being.
Has anyone else made any snow gloves from the snow and ice pack?
