Summer Solstice marks the longest day of the year, and the brightest point of the year calls for a beautiful window sun! This sun although large is so easy to make, only involving one folding technique, its the putting together which requires care and attention but when its done I think you will agree it looks beautiful!

What you will need :

  • 16 Sheets of Yellow Kite Paper or if you want to do a two coloured sun like mine here you will need 8 sheets of yellow and 8 sheets of orange

  • Glue (PVA works best)

I used waxed luxury kite paper which you can find here. Although any will do and you can use tissue paper if needed.

How to make it:

Have fun welcoming the sun.
