Ombre Wax Candles

Ombré Autumn Candle and waxed autumn leaves 🍁

Today the little one and I have collected autumn leaves and as we were dipping them this afternoon we coloured the leftover wax with some of our crayons which the little one grated. We then used a cup to pour the wax over our dinner candles we bought from @myriadnaturaltoys leaving the most beautiful effect, reminding me of anthroposophical veil painting.

To do your own make sure you pour the wax over the majority of the candle to start with and then pour lower down and lower down to build the colour up!

Have a go today and have fun trying some separate colours over one another (on my list for the future)
