Welcome to The Way We Waldorf

In a world where nature is increasingly commodified, where children spend less and less time outdoors and connecting with nature. We are in need more than ever to take ownership, to weave our lives amongst the natural world in a harmonious way as our ancestors did. To be and raise the generation that is bandage that helps heal natures wounds, or at times when it seems to little too late at least stem the bleeding.

We know that the way we raise and educate our children is our only hope if we truly want to make a difference. Children are born to see the world in all its glory, to love it unconditionally, to immerse themselves in its wonder, and we as parents and educators can help deepen this connection and help nurture it into a lifelong journey of harmony and respect.

‘To see a World in a Grain of sand,

And Heaven in a Wild Flower,

Hold Infinity in the palm of your hand,

And eternity in an hour’

William Blake

My blog and monthly guides aim to share this love of nature and provide a natural gentle way inspired by Waldorf Early Childhood Education and the work and writings of Rudolf Steiner to help children absorb all that is around them, to learn through the rhythm of the seasons through storytelling, song and craft whilst providing a thoughtful and gentle guidance for parents and educators through early childhood topics helping navigate this fast paced modern world we live in a slow, meaningful and mindful way.

I hope you find what you enjoy navigating my little slice of home on the World Wide Web, I am so glad you have found me and I welcome you in peace and love. I warmly invite you to connect with other parents and educators through social media via my Instagram and Facebook pages
