Easter Table Beginnings

Our Easter table is ready to slowly transform over the next couple of weeks.
We have our beautiful wheatgrass growing waiting for our caterpillars which we will do in Holy Week (our lovely butterfly garden kit from @my____fable ) We have our eggs hung from a branch I have pruned from our pear tree. And some flowers living their last days from the Nowruz table stood on the lovely spring/Easter wheel from @waldorffamily, the backdrop is a watercolour playsilk I painted last year in rainbow colours which is so soft and pretty. All ready for transformation and growth.
The wheatgrass will probably need a haircut by Easter! But we are going to to juice the first cutting (the second lot won’t have any nutrients).
Looking forward to getting my April guides out this week then enjoying a slow and intentional week with the children and slowly adding some beautiful crafts and gifts to this table to celebrate the spiritual awakening of the earth!
Lent and Easter has always been a period of profound reflection and change for me - as I think it naturally is for most as we burst forth into the year. Have you felt reflective this time of year?
