Moth and moon seasonal table. 🌙
Our moth and moon seasonal table is finally started, it has taken us the best part of a week to get to this stage. Wet on wet painting and tracing the moths onto paper (the little one loved this and it really was great practice for future writing skills)
It really feels like summer now, the humid nights, bright moonlit skies and I can’t think of a better time of year to celebrate these beautiful night time pollinators!

Looking forward to delving into more of these crafts this week as we also revisit the Waldorf Magic Winter Sky unit for some starry summer crafts and also our Sunshine and Thunder unit (anticipating some stormy weather as temperatures sky rocket this week)
