Spring awaken...

Today on our morning walk we came across the first large bunches of snowdrops in the local woodland! Other than a couple in a sheltered spot next to the path which leads to our house we have not seen any in wide open spaces.
The life of the earth is seeping through winters blanket, ready to burst forth into the spring.
Feeling very grateful for a lovely trip to the park finished with a wonderful little walk this morning. The little one took a snowdrop home with her and patted the rest gently leaving them for the fairies so shelter under.
We have just had lunch, and will fill the afternoon with some garden play and painting. Of course it’s Pancakes for dinner as it’s shrove Tuesday as we prepare to reflect and prepare during lent.
