Love has blossomed here 🌺
Our Valentines hearts ♥️ repurposed into a window flower this morning 🌸 🌈
This is one of my favourite Waldorf inspired crafts to do, so bright and cheery and look beautiful in every window in the home, this one is in our kitchen , looking over the back garden. Do you have window stars in all your windows or do you have a special place for them?

“Deep sleeps the Winter,
Cold, wet and grey;
Surely all the world is dead;
Spring is far away.
Wait! the world shall waken;
It is not dead, for lo,
The Fair Maids of February
Stand in the snow!”
Cicely Mary Barker ‘The Snowdrop Fairy’
Today on our morning walk we came across the first large bunches of snowdrops in the local woodland! Other than a couple in a sheltered spot next to the path which leads to our house we have not seen any in wide open spaces.
The life of the earth is seeping through winters blanket, ready to burst forth into the spring.
Feeling very grateful for a lovely trip to the park finished with a wonderful little walk this morning. The little one took a snowdrop home with her and patted the rest gently leaving them for the fairies so shelter under.
We have just had lunch, and will fill the afternoon with some garden play and painting. Of course it’s Pancakes for dinner as it’s shrove Tuesday as we prepare to reflect and prepare during lent.
Life is good ❤️ enjoy your Tuesday everybody!

🥚 Egg Box Daffodils 🌼
As the suns warmth slowly creeps in I thought I would share a craft ahead of my Waldorf Magic Morning Dew Guide for March.
March is the month for St David the patron saint of Wales and we see more and more the appearance of the beautiful Daffodil.
All you need for this simple craft are;
Egg boxes
Paint (poster paint or acrylic works best)
Sticks from your nature walk
Superglue or a glue gun.
Simply cut your egg boxes, making the trumpet of the daffodil from the peaks in the egg box and the petals from the recesses (swipe to see) you will need to cut another pair of petals for the lid which will stick behind the four petals you have.
Paint everything and allow it to dry, consider adding white or orange to the centre of the daffodil to reflect the lovely variety we were in nature.
Finally when dry stick together your flowers as shown in the image and then place a blog of glue in the back and secure your stick.
Stand in a jar - you can always add some sticky tack or play dough to the base of the jar to secure the sticks in and then fill with rice so they all stand proud.
We had fun with this little craft this morning and we shall be making a few more flowers as the month goes on. I hope you enjoy it!
I wish you all the most wonderful Monday and a joyous week!
